28 July 2011, Pretoria: Prime Minister Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama met with the Honourable Benedict Dikobe Martins, Deputy Minister of Public Enterprises, and welcomed the Minister to Fiji for a visit whenever possible.
Minister Martins, who was interred on Robben Island in apartheid times along with Nelson Mandela, is now responsible for Public Enterprises, including responsibility for South African Airways.
Prime Minister Bainimarama expressed appreciation for the opportunity to have met Minister Martins, and expressed his hope of seeing the Minister at the opening of Fiji's High Commission in Pretoria.
Minister Martins said that he looked forward to visiting Fiji when possible.
