His Excellency the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau with Ambassador Mael-Ainin and Madame Samira Affane Aji
19th April 2011: The Kingdom of Morocco’s non-resident Ambassador His Excellency Mohammed Mael-Ainin presented his letters of credence to His Excellency the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
Ambassador Mael-Ainin is the Kingdom of Morocco’s first Ambassador to Fiji. Fiji and Morocco established diplomatic relations on 15th June 2010.
Ambassador Mael-Ainin previously served his country as the ambassador to the Kingdom of Jordan, Argentina and Uruguay.
He was accompanied by his wife Samira Affane Aji.
Ambassador Mael-Ainin also called on the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation the Hon Ratu Inoke Kubuabola and his Permanent Secretary Mr. Solo Mara today.

Minister Kubuabola had visited Morocco from 20 -23 January 2011 to fulfill a longstanding invitation from the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco to pursue discussions on a number of issues of mutual interest to both countries. Morocco has offered scholarships to Fiji students to study at their various universities.
