Visit to Fiji by the Prime Minister of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea

 
The Prime Minister of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, His Excellency  Peter O’Neill is expected to arrive in the country tomorrow for a four day visit to Fiji.
Prime Minister O’Neill together with more than one hundred of His high level delegation will be received by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola at the Nausori Airport tomorrow afternoon.


Minister Kubuabola said Mr O’Neill will be meeting the Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama for a bilateral discussion later tomorrow afternoon.
He said the meeting will be an important opportunity for both countries to advance their desires towards strengthening their bilateral relations.

PM O’Neill is also in Fiji for the Mineral Resources Development Corporation (MRDC) sponsored golf tournament and the launching of the change of ownership of the Pearl’s Resort. He will be returning to Port Moresby on Monday next week.
