Fijian students in India thankful for assistance

fijian-students-in-india-thankful-for-assistance_300x20027th May, 2012: Fiji’s High Commissioner to India, Yogesh Karan reminded the students that the money was to enhance their studies and help them in their research work.

“I hope that you will make good use of this money, you must use this money to do your research work preparation buy whatever stationeries needed and get ready for next semester. The Prime Minister’s message is that he wants all of you to successfully complete your studies, your full program.”

Peni Totoka who spoke on behalf of the group of students thanked the Fiji Government for the timely assistance.

“On belhalf pf the Fijian students who are studying here in India, we would like to thank the honourable Prime Minister for keeping us the promise that he had agreed to help us the students in India.”

This assistance was made possible through the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama upon his recent visit to India.
