Hon. Prime Minister attended the 52nd Pacific Islands Forum and Related meetings from 6-10 November in the Cook Islands. The PIF Leaders Meeting this year marked various historical achievements for the region with Key outcomes of the Meeting provided below:

- Endorsement of the Implementation Plan for the 2050 Strategy for the Blue Pacific Continent.
- Forum Leaders supported Fiji’s concept of a Zone of Peace and its alignment to the 2050 Strategy and its Implementation Plan, the Biketawa Declaration, the Boe Declaration and other complementary initiatives including the Joint Heads of Pacific Security (JHOPS).
- West Papua – In recognition of Indonesia’s sovereignty over West Papua (Papua), the Prime Minister of Fiji and the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea were appointed at Forum Envoys to facilitate a dialogue with Indonesia on areas of shared interest for mutual understanding. This appointment speaks to the regions recognition of Fiji’s experience, seniority and leadership in the region.
- Endorsement of the endorsed the revitalised Pacific Leaders Gender Equality Declaration.
- Endorsement of the Pacific Regional Framework on Climate Mobility.
- Endorsement of the Declaration on the Establishment of the Pacific Resilience Facility.
- Endorsement of the the Pacific Partnerships for Prosperity (PPfP) (a process to mobilise resources to empower Pacific People to bring about transformational change through national and regional development)

- China – Proposal to have a Bilateral Meeting with Chinese President HE Xi Jin Ping in the margins of the APEC Meeting in San Francisco and proposal to have direct flights to Beijing by Fiji Airways;
- Green Climate Fund – GCF and Government of Fiji agreed to work closely together in developing a larger scale financing support to respond to climate change.
- Cook Islands – Signing of the MOU on Development Cooperation.
- Niue – Signing of the Foreign Diplomatic Recognition between Fiji and Niue
- France – Seeking Fiji’s support on Oceans Conference 2025 in France.
- Ghana – seeking support for Ghana’s candidacy for the Commonwealth Secretary General position.
