Fiji’s Ambassador to Indonesia, Amenatave Vakasavuwaqa Yauvoli presented his credentials as Fiji’s non-resident High Commissioner to Malaysia to the Head of State in Malaysia, His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di-Pertuan Agong XVI Al-Sultan Abdhullah Ri’Ayatuddin Al- Mustafa Billah Shah.
In presenting his Letters of Credence, Ambassador Yauvoli conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the President of Fiji, His Excellency Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere, to His Majesty Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, and the people of Malaysia for their continued prosperity.
In receiving the Letters of Credence, His Majesty Yang Di-Pertuan Agong congratulated Ambassador Yauvoli on his appointment as the High Commissioner of the Republic of Fiji to the Federal Government of Malaysia with the assurance of the fullest cooperation and support from the Government of Malaysia towards the discharge of his duties.
He extended his kind greetings and well wishes to President Katonivere, and the people of #Fiji for continued peace, progress and prosperity.
His Majesty recognised the value of the existing warm and friendly bilateral relations with Fiji and remains committed to enhancing existing cooperation to a higher level, especially throughout the post-pandemic era. His Majesty reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment to further enhance the partnership between the two nations through the expansion of bilateral relations and various cooperation in trade, health, tourism, #education and agriculture.
At the credentials presentation ceremony held at the Istana Negara, Royal National Palace in Kuala Lumpur, Ambassador Yauvoli was accompanied by his spouse, Mrs Ruci Cakacakavakavanua Yauvoli and supported by Counsellor Isaac Grace of the Fijian Embassy in Jakarta.
