The President of the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Yoon Suk Yeol has congratulated the Prime Minister and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable Sitiveni Rabuka.
In a congratulatory message, President Yoon Suk Yeol on behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Korea conveyed his warmest congratulations to Prime Minister Rabuka. He said Fiji is an important partner for the Republic of Korea in fostering a ‘free, peaceful and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.’
President Yoon Suk Yeol said he looks forward to further strengthening the mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas including climate change, health and oceans and fisheries under Prime Minister Rabuka’s distinguished leadership.
He extended his deepest gratitude to the Government of Fiji for its unwavering support toward the Korean Government’s efforts to contribute to addressing common global challenges.
He requested for Fiji’s valuable support for the Korean Government’s candidacy to host the 2030 World Expo in Busan, Korea.
