The Fiji Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) was represented at the cultural event called, “Harmony for the Pacific, connecting Indonesia and the Pacific through Culture and shared Heritage” organised by the Indonesian Embassy at the Albert Park in Suva.
Director Asia at MFA, Mr Josefa Tuima officiated the program and delivered remarks on behalf of the Fiji Government. He extended appreciation to the Government of Indonesia for their ongoing cooperation with #Fiji and the #Pacific region.
The cultural program held this week from 25-27 September 2024, signifies Indonesia’s commitment and longstanding cooperation with Fiji and the Pacific region and an initiative that emphasizes the importance of cultural connections and heritage among countries of the Pacific.
Indonesia continues to support Fiji through programs aimed at promoting socio-economic development.
Fiji Ministry of Foreign Affairs participation at this event reaffirms our strong partnership with the development partners in the Asia
Region and beyond.
The Exhibition is a platform to promote cultural exchange and build mutual respect and appreciation of both Indonesia and Fiji’s cultural heritage.
The event is timely given that #Fiji and #Indonesia will commemorate 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations, next year.
