President Maamau inspected a 100-men guard of honour mounted by officers of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and the RFMF Naval Division.
He was received at the Nausori Airport by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Hon. Biman Prasad, the Commander of the RFMF, Major-General Ro Jone Kalouniwai, the Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Sakeo Raikaci and the Commissioner Central, Mr. Josefa Navuku.
President Maamau’s State Visit to Fiji further solidifies the current partnership shared between Fiji and Kiribati.
