The Fiji Ministry of Foreign Affairs Team led by the Assistant Minister Hon.Lenora Qereqeretabua, and the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Raijeli Taga, joined fellow civil servants from various ministries and departments in the National Clean-Up Day held in Suva on Saturday 15th March 2025.
A joint effort led by the Public Service Commission [PSC] and the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, aligns with the objectives of the National Anti-Litter Campaign. Additionally, this initiative highlights the government’s commitment to building a cleaner and healthier environment for all.
The Ministry’s participation reflects our dedication to civic responsibility and environmental care, reaffirming our support for such collaborative efforts aimed at raising awareness on the shared responsibility to protecting and nurturing a sustainable environment.
The Ministry extends its sincere appreciation to the Chairman of the Public Service Commission [PSC], Mr. Luke Rokovada, for his exemplary leadership in spearheading this valuable initiative. The timely effort in
bringing together the civil servants for the clean-up day, signifies the duty of care and civic responsibility within Fiji’s public service.
On the same note, the Ministry thanks it’s staff and their families, including all the civil servants for their participation and support for the National Clean-Up Day.
