ACTING PRIME MINISTER SIGNS CONDOLENCE BOOK FOR THE LATE SIR JULIUS CHAN
The Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Hon. Biman Prasad signed the condolence book for the late Rt. Hon. Sir Julius Chan, GCL, GCMG, KBE, MP, Governor of New Ireland Province, who passed away last Thursday.
On behalf of the Government and people of Fiji, Hon. Prasad expressed deepest sympathies to the family of Sir Julius Chan and the people of Papua New Guinea.
Hon. Prasad stated that Fiji’s relations with Papua New Guinea thrived significantly under Sir Julius’ leadership and his guidance was invaluable during a challenging period in our history.
“His legacy of wisdom and diplomacy will continue to resonate in the region for many years to come.”
