Tasks and objectives:

The Consular activities provided by the Embassy serves as a link between the Fijians residing/working/ studying in China and the home country.

The consular district of the Fiji Embassy in Beijing includes all Provinces of the People’s Republic of China including the Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao, as well as the countries of Kazakhstan and North Korea which the Fiji Embassy is also accredited to.

We deal with the following areas in particular:

  • Confirmations, certifications, translations of signatures/documents where a Fiji interest exists
  • Consular protection: assistance with lost passports, repatriations, support and assistance in the event of arrest, accident or another emergency.
