Ambassador Alsuwaidi said.
Meanwhile, the UAE also assists the Pacific Island nations through Pacific Partnership Fund which aspires to increase accessibility of renewable energy sources for Pacific. The Fund has an allocation of $50 million to coordinate the renewable energy projects in Pacific Island countries and todate 11 projects have been accomplished.
Work is also in progress on the implementation of recently signed MOU with the UAE Red Crescent to support the Fijian Government’s Adopt a School Program.
