PS Karan said the Vuvale Partnership presents great opportunities for further cooperation between Fiji and Australia.

Australia’s support to Fiji in economic recovery and rebuilding efforts from the COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters, was acknowledged at the meeting.
PS Karan commended Australia’s commitment in making climate change a priority and Fiji looks forward for Australia’s continued support in the lead up to the COP27 in Egypt in November.

In response, Mr. Williams reaffirmed Australia’s continued support to Fiji and the Pacific in shared interests and priorities.
