Fijian Passport
Fiji Passports are issued to those who would have acquired Fiji citizenship through birth, registration and naturalization.
Fiji issues three types of passport:
- Ordinary Passport
- Diplomatic Passport
- Emergency Passport
- Certificate of Identity
e-Passport
Requirements for Fiji e-Passport
- Original Birth Certificate – (NOTE: As Bill 33 is now in effect, name on new passport will be the same as your birth certificate name)
- Old Passport Book
- Original Marriage Certificate ( If Married)
- ID cards ( FRCS/FNPF Joint Card, Voter ID, Driving License, State ID)
- Immigration status – (copy of green card, US entry visa or Citizenship Certificate). If out of status, statutory declaration form needs to be filled out indicating status in the U.S. and confirming whether or not applicant is still a Fiji Citizen. Form has to be notarized
- Parents Original Birth Certificate for Minors (under 12)
- US$126.22 (money order or cashiers check made payable to the Permanent Mission of Fiji to the United Nations. If cash has to be exact amount.)

- Police Report & Statutory Declaration – Lost Cases – Fee USD$217.44 (money order or cashiers check made payable to the Permanent Mission of Fiji to the United Nations or cash in the exact amount only)
- Original Adoption Papers & Legal Guidance Documents
- Divorced Papers ( If Divorced )
- Death Certificate (If widowed)
IMPORTANT

Diplomatic Passport
Diplomatic Passports are issued to the President and spouse, the Prime Minister and spouse, Government officials working in Diplomatic Missions and Government Ministers. It is scarlet red and valid for ten years but subject to duration of appointment/official status.
Emergency Passport
An Emergency Passport is issued in the absence of Ordinary Passport or in emergency cases only.
NOTE
all applications for urgent issue will need to pay an additional fee.
all fees submitted from abroad will need to reflect the exact converted amount in Fijian currency and need to be in the form of a bank cheque or bank draft payable to the Department of Fiji Immigration and can be withdrawn from a local bank in Fiji.
