Fiji And United States Renew Commitment to Advance Shared Values and Priorities

The Republic of Indonesia has congratulated our Prime Minister and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable Sitiveni Rabuka.
In a congratulatory letter, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Her Excellency Retno L. P. Marsudi extended her best wishes to Prime Minister Rabuka and the people of Fiji. Minister Retno said as members of the Pacific family, Fiji and Indonesia shared many common interests and that the growth of the bilateral cooperation between the two countries has benefitted immensely the prosperity of our peoples.
In reaffirming Indonesia’s cooperation with Fiji, Minister Retno said she looks forward to working together with Prime Minister Rabuka in achieving the progress of this goal for the mutual benefit of both the countries. The Fiji Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia and the Indonesian Embassy based in Suva work will collaboratively to advance the mutual cooperation.
