MLMR and MFA collaborate on pinktober initiative

The Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources (MLMR) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) collaborated for the Pinktober program recently organised in Suva.

Through this joint initiative the ministries were able to provide donation to the Fiji Cancer Society to support its ongoing work on advocacy, awareness and support for the cancer patients.

The initiative emphasized on the importance of Pinktober month in raising awareness on the cancer prevention and creating a cancer free society.

MFA looks forward to supporting such initiatives aimed at promoting health and wellbeing of the communities in Fiji.

The Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources Hon. Filimoni Vosarogo and the Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Lenora Qereqeretabua were in attendance at the event, together with the staff from the two ministries and the reps from the Fiji Cancer Society.
