Prime Minister Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama last night hosted #TeamFiji to a thanksgiving dinner as a way of appreciating their tireless efforts and dedication which saw the successful completion of the 51st Pacific Islands Forum Leaders meeting this week.
As PIF Chair, Prime Minister Bainimarama said he was very proud of the team for working tirelessly behind the scene and in ensuring that the necessary operations of the Leaders Meeting was a “smooth sail”.
Prime Minister Bainimarama thanked the disciplined forces and also the fire officers, those involved in secretariat duties and also staff who were responsible for decorations and catering, adding that the team work within #TeamFiji spoke volume of the Fijian warmth and hospitality.
“Vinaka vakalevu for all the hard work and commitment towards the hosting of the Forum Leaders Meeting. May God bless you all,” Prime Minister Bainimarama added.
At the dinner, PIF Secretary General Mr Henry Puna conveyed his sincere appreciation to Prime Minister Bainimarama for his exemplary leadership which, undoubtedly, brought the Pacific Leaders together for an important time of Pacific dialogue and promoting regionalism.
Mr Puna said the Prime Minister’s sound leadership is indeed commendable and he thanked Team Fiji for the successful completion of the Leaders Meeting.
