The President of the Republic of Kiribati, His Excellency Taneti Maamau arrived in the Capital City of Suva this evening.

The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Tourism & Civil Aviation, Hon. Viliame Gavoka welcomed the President of the Republic of Kiribati, His Excellency Taneti Maamau at the Nadi International Airport this afternoon.
This is President Maamau’s first State Visit to Fiji.
Fiji and Kiribati have maintained a significantly long and important relationship, which continues to be strengthened through President Maamau’s visit to Fiji this week.
His Excellency Maamau will be accorded to a traditional welcome ceremony tomorrow.
