“This dialogue marks a significant step in EU cooperation with the Pacific and called for closer engagement on implementing the institutional arrangements of the Agreement.”
This was highlighted by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka during the Pacific ACP (PACP) Leaders meeting during the 53rd Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting in Tonga.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka reiterated the important role of the European Union as a valuable bilateral and regional development partner during the Pacific Members of the African, Caribbean and Pacific (PACP) Leaders Dialogue on the Samoa Agreement today.
PM Rabuka also acknowledged the role of the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat in supporting Pacific ACP members and shared that Fiji undertook its first EU Partnership Dialogue under the Samoa Agreement in April.
