Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka held bilateral discussions with Papua New Guinea (PNG) Prime Minister James Marape and Tonga Prime Minister Hu’akavameiliku along the margins of the Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting today.

The 53rd Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting was opened this morning at the Tonga High School Indoor Stadium [26.08.24]
With the theme. “Transformative Resilient Pasifiki: Build Better Now”, the opening ceremony saw performances by Queen Salote College band and the Combined secondary School Choir.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka was among the Pacific Island Leaders who attended the opening ceremony.
PM Rabuka will later hold bilateral talks with the Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape and his delegation and the Tongan Prime Minister Hu’akavameiliku. He will also attend the Pacific ACP (PACP) Leaders meeting before attending the evening welcome reception at the Tonga High School Indoor Stadium.
