Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Sitiveni Rabuka, joined the members of the Commonwealth family for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Apia, Samoa.
The Commonwealth’s achievements and challenges over the past eight years were highlighted by esteemed speakers, which included the delivery of promised reforms, the establishment of the Blue Charter, the Living Lands Charter, and the Youth Development Index.
The meeting this year also marked the transition to King Charles Ill as the new Head of the Commonwealth, who stressed the importance of unity, opportunity, and addressing inequalities.
